Job Description

• The Truck Workshop department is seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven, dedicated individual to join the team. This position requires someone capable of working in a fast-paced, demanding, and pressurized environment.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Install new electronic components on vehicles.
• Diagnose and maintain electronic components in vehicles.
• Utilize a variety of tools for efficient repairs.
• Test and repair starters, alternators, and charging systems.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Repair and replace defective wiring.
• Fault find electrical systems using visual inspection and testing equipment such as multimeters and battery load testers.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Complete job reports and paperwork.
• Perform repairs for COF's.
• Conduct quality control checks.
• Attend to breakdowns.
• Repair gear selection systems on International, Volvo, and UD trucks.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on machinery.

Applicants Must Have The Following Qualifications

• A Red Seal Auto Electrician Qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Professionalism in the workplace.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
• Experience with trucks and earth-moving machinery.
• Ability to work in challenging conditions and under pressure.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Deadline-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid code C1 driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
