Our client is an international OEM vehicles manufacturer. Join their team and contribute to developing innovative solutions with your curiosity and ideas. They are seeking to fill the position of Auto Dealer Training Academy Manager based in Sandton, JHB North.
Brief Role Description
- Develop and implement an integrated People Management Strategy for the auto Brands’ Network (Importers & Dealers), aligned with Group and retail automotive standards. Manage training facilities and assets supporting the Brands’ Network in Africa, with a focus on technology and digital integration.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Develop the Auto Brands’ Network People & Talent Strategy for retail automotive, aligned with Group standards. Manage service suppliers through governance models and contractual SLAs, including KPIs. Oversee delivery of training solutions related to new models, technology updates, and other key initiatives. Design and communicate service catalogs, training schedules, and standards. Manage facilities, assets, and budgets in line with Group standards and legal compliance. Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to ensure service relevance. Engage with Brands and internal departments to set training needs and evaluate performance. Oversee procurement and support services, ensuring compliance with policies. Maintain legal accreditation and data integrity standards.
Qualification requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Human Resources Management.
- At least 5 years of automotive industry experience, especially in training and development, with supervisory experience.
- Understanding of retail environments and Importer/Dealer structures.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on value creation.
- Project management skills handling complex volumes.
- Cultural awareness and team leadership skills.
