Internship Location: Cape Town, Western Cape and Rustenburg, North West, South Africa. The programme provides SAICA articles in a professional public-sector audit setting, building practical skills in auditing, reporting, stakeholder engagement and compliance.

Qualifications

• CTA or PGDA qualification or enrolment in SAICA articles.
• Pursuing CTA or SAICA-endorsed undergraduate degree.
• Eligible to register for the Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC).

AGSA Young Professionals CA Programme 2027

The Auditor-General of South Africa is offering SAICA training contract opportunities to aspiring Chartered Accountants who want to complete their articles in a professional public-sector audit environment. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced audit professionals while developing practical skills in auditing, financial reporting, stakeholder engagement and financial compliance.

What the Programme Offers The programme gives trainee auditors the opportunity to complete their SAICA articles while gaining practical workplace experience within AGSA. Trainees will be exposed to professional audit engagements and will develop technical and professional skills required for a future career in auditing and accounting.
