Job Opportunity: MidLevel Audit / Accounting Manager

A leading accounting and auditing firm in Pretoria is seeking a highly motivated and experienced MidLevel Audit / Accounting Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Audit / Accounting Manager will play a vital role in overseeing and managing a team of accounting and audit professionals. This position requires a calm and collected individual with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for developing and training junior staff.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of client engagements, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the firm.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Key Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent with completed Articles
• Registered Professional Accountant (SA), Associate General Accountant (AGA), or ACCA member
• A minimum of 3-5 years post-article experience
• Experience in a similar role within a Public Accounting Firm
• Sound knowledge of local tax regulations
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring accounting/audit teams
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and other relevant accounting standards
• Experience with CaseWare, Xero, and Sage One accounting software
