Job summary

PwC South Africa in Bloemfontein is looking for a candidate who has recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Accounting to gain experience in a corporate audit environment. The role is based in the Bloemfontein office and is a fixed-term contract, not permanent.

You will support audit teams by performing test of details and controls, working under a Manager, and helping with bank and investment confirmations and other PwC methodologies.

Qualifications

• Related tertiary qualification in accounting or auditing

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Manager
• Perform general auditing functions according to PwC methodologies including bank confirmations, investment confirmations, group deliverables, receivable confirmations, and ISA 402 documentation
• Perform test of details and test of controls
• Work within budget allocations
• General administration
• Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner
• Share and collaborate effectively with others
• Follow processes/systems and suggest improvements
• Validate data and analysis for accuracy
• Follow risk management and compliance procedures
• Keep up-to-date with technical developments for the business area
