Audit Supervisor - Audit Firm - R520K - R400K

RPO Recruitment's client is an Audit firm, which is currently seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join their team in Milnerton. The Audit Supervisor will oversee the auditing process, including the preparation of financial statements and audit reports, and will also be responsible for utilizing analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting issues.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and focused, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about audit and have exceptional organizational and communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain audit programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead on-site audits and communicate audit results to management.
  • Monitor internal controls and identify areas of risk in the company.
  • Assist with the development of audit plans and risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance and support to the audit team on complex audit issues.
  • Train and develop audit staff to ensure that they are knowledgeable and effective in their roles.
  • Ensure audit reports are accurate, timely, and appropriate.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree 2+ years of post-article experience in auditing.
  • Financial Statements and Audit Reports preparation experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of audit and accounting principles and practices (IFRIS, TAX, IFRIS for SME).
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.
  • Must be able to strive under pressure and can work in a high-stress environment.
  • Successfully completed a 3-Year SAICA Learnership programme.
  • SAICA-accredited.
  • Good understanding of the SAICA trainee assessment programme (LOR and PDS)
