Job summary

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants is seeking an experienced audit professional to manage engagements from planning through completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards. You will lead audit teams, review files for ISA compliance, and identify issues with practical solutions.

You will also monitor budgets, mentor SAICA Trainees, and maintain strong client relationships while working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver excellent service and drive departmental performance.

Qualifications

• Audit experience is required.
• Familiarity with ISAs and firm methodology preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Lead and supervise audit teams, allocating work and ensuring effective workflow.
• Review audit files and financial statements for quality and compliance with ISAs and firm methodology.
• Identify audit issues and risks and provide practical solutions.
• Monitor engagement budgets, WIP and deadlines.
• Coach, mentor and develop SAICA Trainee Accountants and junior staff.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback in line with SAICA training requirements.
• Build strong and professional client relationships.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure excellent client service.
• Contribute to improving processes, efficiency and the overall performance of the Audit Department.
