POSITION DETAILS

Start Date: Immediate upon completion of the recruitment process

Teaching Hours: Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week!

Students: Adult professionals over the age of 18, based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.

Remuneration: Set base rate of 6 USD per hour.

Contract Type: You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider.

Location: Work from the convenience of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver English lessons and guidance to students.
2. Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilizing world-class teaching methods.
3. Lead discussions, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field)
2. Completed, accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA.
3. 6 Months teaching or tutoring experience.
4. Computer literate.
5. Clear criminal record.
6. Engaging and inspiring communication skills.
7. Punctual and precise timekeeping.
8. Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots.
9. Aligned with The Really Great Teacher Company's values, and a culture fit.

Technical Requirements (non-negotiable):

1. PC specifications: Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (8 CPUs) or greater.
2. Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.
3. Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching).
4. A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds.
5. PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.
6. Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera.
7. Back-up headset highly recommended.
8. Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment.

This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.
