Medium Size Audit firm, well established in the Durban, Westville area are looking to appoint 2 Audit Clerks to their growing team. Positions are available for immediate start. Package includes a good basic and attractive bonus schemes throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Review Financial Records: Check financial documents and records for accuracy and completeness.
Identify Discrepancies: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Prepare Reports: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Verify Transactions: Verify and calculate the accuracy of business transactions recorded in ledgers.
Process Payroll: Prepare and process payroll documents and transactions.
Maintain Records: Maintain records of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
General Office Duties: Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with Audits: Assist in the preparation of annual audits.
Requirements:
Education: BComm accounting or final year of Degree.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting or auditing will be advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in financial records.
Preferred Qualifications:
