Our client in the accounting and auditing industry is currently looking to employ an Audit Administrator based in Gqeberha.

Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience within an audit department preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced level).
- Experience with GreatSoft software is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Accurate filing and record-keeping.
- Effective teamwork and client service abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
Audit Department Support:
- Review and approve weekly audit department timesheets.
- Link task codes to clients for timesheet tracking.
- Approve travel and overtime claims.
- Retrieve tax documents from EFILING for clerks.
- Coordinate training sessions for audit staff.
- Manage weekly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports.
- Plan annual audit and review schedules.
- Organize stock counts and referral counts (quotes, etc.).
- Arrange travel and accommodation for audit personnel, including allowances and car rentals.
- Request bank confirmations.
GreatSoft System Management:
- Create and manage tasks and fee structures.
- Add new employees and terminate exiting staff in GreatSoft.
- Update staff charge-out rates.
- Generate and distribute monthly timesheet reports from managers and directors.
- Manage invoicing and statement dispatch.
- Follow up on outstanding debtor accounts.
Company Vehicle Management:
- Maintain and update logbooks for PKF (PE) vehicles.
- Conduct regular physical inspections of vehicles before and after use.
- Organize vehicle servicing and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit monthly vehicle reports to the managing director.
- Monitor scheduled maintenance, kilometres travelled, and petrol card usage.
- Verify valid driver’s licenses are on file for all company vehicle users.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the firm’s System of Quality Management (SOQM), policies and procedures.
- Comply with the firm’s Employee Code of Conduct, including HR policies and SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA Codes of Conduct.
- Provide dedicated support to directors and the audit department.
- Support directors and the audit department.
- Work independently.
