Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing is required.

• 2–4 years of internal or external audit experience.
• Solid understanding of audit methodologies, internal controls and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with audit software is a plus.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Audit Accountant to join their internal audit team based in Nelspruit . This role involves assessing financial controls, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will conduct audits across various departments, providing recommendations for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and financial integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial and operational audits according to the annual audit plan.


• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.


• Identify control weaknesses, non-compliance issues, and areas for operational improvement.


• Document audit findings, prepare detailed audit reports, and present recommendations to management.


• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.


• Liaise with external auditors as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing.


• Professional qualification such as CIA, CA(SA), or equivalent is highly preferred.


• 2-4 years of experience in internal or external audit.


• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, internal controls, and risk assessment.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with audit software is a plus.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for collaborating across departments in a hybrid work model in Nelspruit .
