Attorney

My well established client is seeking a qualified Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. The role will involve advising clients, drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high quality advice to clients.
2. Draft, review and negotiate legal documents.
3. Represent clients in court and at tribunals.
4. Conduct research and provide updates on changes in law.
5. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and referrals.
7. Participate in business development activities to promote the firm's services.

Requirements:

1. Qualified lawyer with 5 to 6 years of post-qualification experience.
2. Strong academic background, including law degree from a reputable university.
3. Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and referrals.

Remuneration: + / - R50k per month dependent on experience.
