Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through research and strategic approaches.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Research and identify leads that match company services.
Implement outreach strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
Negotiate terms and close sales to meet targets.
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order execution and customer service.
Maintain industry knowledge and ensure client information accuracy in CRM.
Achieve a monthly revenue target equivalent to six times the Cost to Company.
Requirements
Qualification in microbiology, biotechnology, food technology, or environmental health.
Experience in selling food safety training (advantageous).
3-5 years in a sales role, with B2B experience.
2 years in the HSE industry with knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Own reliable transport and willingness to travel.
Preference for employment equity candidates.
