Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking an Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements, maintain audit quality, manage client relationships, and develop our audit teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed SAICA articles
• At least two years’ direct supervisory or management experience
• CA(SA) qualification or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA, the Companies Act and tax regulations
• Practical external audit experience
• Advanced MS Excel and Word proficiency
• Inflo and DraftWorx experience advantageous
• Ability to travel nationally and work overtime when required

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements, including planning, resource allocation and delivery.
• Oversee audit quality and the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Resolve operational issues and act as a key client contact.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop audit teams.
• Oversee portfolio profitability, working capital and billing.
• Manage staff allocation and compliance with internal processes.
