Job summary

Talent Candey is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements and maintain high audit quality. You will manage client relationships, allocate resources, and mentor audit teams to deliver timely, accurate financial statements.

The role requires SAICA articles, supervisory experience, and strong IFRS/ISA knowledge. Travel nationwide and overtime may be required as part of client service delivery.

Qualifications

• Completed SAICA articles.
• At least two years’ direct supervisory or management experience.
• CA(SA) qualification or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA, the Companies Act and tax regulations.
• Practical external audit experience.
• Advanced MS Excel and Word proficiency.
• Inflo and DraftWorx experience advantageous.
• Ability to travel nationally and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements, including planning, resource allocation and delivery.
• Oversee audit quality and the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Resolve operational issues and act as a key client contact.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop audit teams.
• Oversee portfolio profitability, working capital and billing.
• Manage staff allocation and compliance with internal processes.
