Your Role at impact.com:

As an Associate UX Researcher, you will support the product and design teams by planning, conducting, and analysing user research that helps shape our product roadmap and user experience. This includes identifying user needs and goals, developing personas, as well as conducting rapid iterative usability testing, surveys, and in-depth interviews with users worldwide.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with foundational experience in UX research who is ready to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You should be able to work on multiple concurrent projects with stakeholders across various locations.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with UX researchers, UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure user insights are integrated into the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Synthesize research findings to deliver actionable insights to product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Assist in the creation of personas, journey maps, and insight decks that communicate user needs clearly.
  • Maintain a research repository and help make insights searchable and reusable.
  • Represent the voice of the Impact customer among cross-functional partners and stakeholders by highlighting the user, their needs, and behaviors
What You Have:
  • Relevant degree/course OR relevant experience
  • 1-3 years conducting product user experience research OR strong experience working with SaaS platforms
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Ability to collaborate thoughtfully with user experience researchers, designers and product managers, balancing user needs with business constraints and outcomes
  • Must be a tireless advocate for the end user. Compassionate for users everyday struggles and challenges. Put users' needs first, and be unwavering in their desire to provide the best experiences
  • Experience communicating research findings to diverse audiences through both written and in-person formats + presentations
  • Curiosity and empathy—a genuine interest in understanding people and systems.
  • Attention to detail when observing user behavior and documenting findings at scale.
  • Some comfort with tools like Figma, Maze, and Dovetail.
