Job summary

CyberPro Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Associate SAP Human Capital Solutions Architect in Cape Town to lead architecture across SAP SuccessFactors and HCM landscapes. You will translate business needs into robust solution designs and guide integration across ECC, SuccessFactors, and BTP.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, architecture governance, and ongoing migration projects in both on‑premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience configuring and supporting SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Succession and Development, Compensation, Learning, EC Payroll and/or Time Off.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM ECC modules, including Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management and Payroll.
• SAP SuccessFactors design and implementation experience in one or more modules, including Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Succession and Development, Compensation, Learning, EC Payroll and Time Off, aligned to organisational HR processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP HCM ECC6 modules, including Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management and Payroll.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and CPI to support integration and development.
• Experience managing and monitoring integrations between SAP SuccessFactors modules, replication to SAP ECC6 and third-party systems.
• Understanding of SAP architecture, design, implementation, testing and data governance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and solution design skills.

Associate SAP Human Capital Solutions Architect

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit business and technology goals, objectives, priorities and requirements.
  
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution architectures that address both business and technical needs.
  
• Design and validate complex solution architectures to address business and technical requirements and ensure successful implementation.
  
• Design solution integration architectures to address business and technical requirements and support successful implementation.
  
• Research and evaluate new solutions to address specific or general business challenges.
  
• Provide solution advisory, recommendations and guidance across SAP Human Capital platforms, including SAP HCM ECC, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  
• Contribute to the strategic planning and architecture definition of the SAP Human Capital landscape.
  
• Understand and interpret the business processes for which solution architecture is being developed.
  
• Influence business and IT strategies, ensuring collaborative alignment between business and technology stakeholders.
  
• Contribute to the development of SAP Human Capital technical and application roadmaps across both on-premises and cloud environments.
  
• Actively participate in and provide guidance on SAP Human Capital landscape migrations and upgrades.
  
• Document overall solution architecture and integrations with other systems in line with enterprise and solution architecture standards and practices.
  
• Present solution architectures to relevant architecture, technology and business forums.
  

Qualification

• Matric.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• SAP SuccessFactors certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP SuccessFactors BizX modules, Platform Administration, or related certifications, would be advantageous.
  

Experience

The successful candidate will undergo development in the Solution Architecture discipline through training programmes and certification courses, with the opportunity to develop into a designated SAP Human Capital Solution Architect.

The candidate should have the following experience as an SAP SuccessFactors / SAP HCM functional resource, together with a keen interest in progressing into Solution Architecture:

• Working knowledge of SAP HCM ECC6 modules, including Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management and Payroll.
  
• Knowledge of how SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) support integration and development.
  
• Experience managing and monitoring integrations between SAP SuccessFactors modules, replication to SAP ECC6 and third-party systems.
  
• Understanding of SAP architecture, design, implementation, testing and data governance.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and solution design skills.
  
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert on modern SAP development tools and provide technical guidance to business analysts and stakeholders in identifying and implementing SAP solutions.
  

Technical Skills

• Understanding of IT Service Management principles and frameworks, such as ITIL 4.
  
• Understanding of project and programme management methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF would be advantageous.
  
• Working knowledge of ABAP and SAP Fiori / SAPUI5, primarily to guide feasibility and solution design rather than hands-on development.
