Job Title : Associate Risk Analyst

A dynamic and vibrant player in South Africa's financial services industry is looking for an Associate Risk Analyst.

Your knowledge of enterprise risk management concepts and risk analysis techniques are precisely what they are looking for. The position is based within the Enterprise Risk and Innovation division at the head office in Sandton, Johannesburg.

This position reports to the Head of Risk Management, who is accountable for the entire company's risk management functions. The role will be responsible for assisting the Head of Risk Management with maintenance and execution of the Risk Management Framework across the organisation, ensuring effectiveness of risk management processes.

Responsibilities also include performing the annual ORSA process and producing the ORSA document, including performing certain components of stress and scenario testing.

You will be expected to assist with the assurance process, focusing on operational, fraud, and compliance risk identification and quantification across the various company processes.

Required qualifications and experience:

1. Minimum honours level qualification in the field of statistics, mathematics, data science, actuarial, risk management, finance, or other related field
2. Working knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industry is preferable
