Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der Leitung komplexer multidisziplinärer Umweltstudien.

Job Description:

We have an opportunity for an Associate Environmental Consultant with a proven track record in project management and delivery of environmental management services. The individual will manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects. Act as the primary contact and drive business development in the sector through existing networks and new relationships, including proposal writing and participating in conferences and events. Ensure quality assurance of project work undertaken by others.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage complex projects and resolve project issues
• Generate repeat work with clients
• Mentorship and line management
• Support the commercial success and stability of the division by ensuring effective project management
• Ensure the successful delivery of projects at high quality standards
• Develop client relationships and seek repeat work through excellent project delivery
• Engage in business development, including environmental matters and cross-selling opportunities
• Assist in the day-to-day management of AESG's environmental division, including overseeing project delivery, resource management, and proposals
• Provide thought leadership within the division and industry
• Support the development of procedures to improve division efficiency

Essential Skills:

• MSc in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
• CEnv qualification or equivalent is desirable
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in environmental management
• Experience managing complex multidisciplinary environmental studies, such as EIA projects
• Technical direction on key environmental projects
• Ability to manage complex projects with multifaceted technical scopes and stakeholder management
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
