Overview:
We're looking for a motivated Associate Electrical Engineer to support production troubleshooting and process improvements for diagnostic equipment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate non-conformities, support root cause analysis, and implement changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic issues on the production floor (PCBA-level and component-level)
- Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Create and update production documentation: BOMs, assembly/test procedures, change orders
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives involving quality, purchasing, and supply chain
- Communicate technical issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support change management and continuous improvement projects
- Work with CAD software (Altium experience is great, but not required - other platforms OK)
- Assist senior engineers on new product design and sustaining activities
- Write up detailed investigation reports and route for approvals
- Follow departmental procedures and ensure compliance with design controls and quality standards
What You'll Bring:
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in manufacturing or design
Skills & Tools:
- PCB troubleshooting and debug
- Familiarity with CAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, etc.)
- Strong written communication - half your job is documenting and routing investigations
- Ability to explain complex technical info in simple terms
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of quality systems and documentation standards

- Self-starter - able to learn on the job and hit the ground running
- Great communicator across engineering, quality, and supply chain
- Time management and multitasking - this isn't a one-project-at-a-time gig
- Analytical and methodical - problem solving is your second nature
