Key Role: Providing consulting engineering services and designing MV & LV power and lighting systems, single line diagrams, reticulation, generators, UPS, fire detection and evacuation systems, Data, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and building management systems.

Key Competencies and Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, report writing, clarity in communication with teams and clients via email, phone, and face-to-face. Good knowledge of SANS standards, building contracts (e.g., JBCC, FIDIC, NEC), MV and LV reticulation, standby power systems, renewable energy installations, Autodesk BIM (Revit, Navisworks, Glue, Field), CAD software, electrical design software (Relux, Dialux, CBi, Ecodial, ETAP), and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently, with high attention to detail, good time management, and knowledge of latest building services technologies.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, ambitious, proactive, creative problem solver, professional communicator across all levels, team player, capable of handling challenging projects with tight timelines, and willing to travel within RSA and Africa. Must possess a driver’s license and own transport.
Minimum BSc Eng. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Professional registration with ECSA. At least 7 years of consulting engineering experience in building services or industrial environments. SAQCC registration for design is highly advantageous. Data Centre experience is a plus.
