Job summary

BDO South Africa is seeking an Associate Director in Rosebank to lead the Individual, trusts, estates, and expatriate compliance business unit within the Tax Department. The role requires at least 15 years of tax experience and a strong focus on client management and compliance. Com., post-graduate qualifications preferred, and possess outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ tax experience is required.
• 3 years’ managerial experience preferred.
• Member of South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) and registered Tax Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and relationships.
• Prepare and review income tax returns and supporting tax schedules.
• Ensure compliance with BDO risk policies and statutory deadlines.
• Mentor and coach junior staff.
