Job description

Role Purpose : Manages senior relationships with various suppliers to deliver agreed-upon data.

Ensures supplier data quality meets standards and established expectations. Consults with suppliers to provide and sell back insights gained from supplied content.

Take responsibility for: negotiating and renegotiating data supplier contracts; investigating and sourcing potential new data suppliers; implementing feedback services to barter against fees for data to reduce costs and increase EBITA; maintaining supplier relations by connecting with data suppliers regularly and relaying and coordinating any requests from data suppliers; managing supplier payments; and managing the Data Supply and Pharmacy Teams.

Principal Accountabilities :

• IQVIA Data Supply Team Management : Support internal commercial team with information related to data supply; support Data Supply and Pharmacy teams with strategic objectives; take responsibility for supplier payments and barter agreements.
• Data Supply Relationships Management : Regular face-to-face interaction with key data suppliers to maintain critical data supply relationships; negotiate data supply fees; identify new data sources; negotiate contracts; oversee implementation and follow-through of all contracts and information service agreements.
• Business Development : Develop strategies for expanding the scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities; lead negotiations for renewing multi-year contracts; liaise with internal stakeholders to determine business capabilities and solution potential.
• Supplier Insights and Market Analysis : Develop supplier-specific feedback reports; provide monthly insights to suppliers; improve feedback reports based on market dynamics; meet with pharma clients to understand new data requirements; identify new data sources or audits based on client needs; guide commercial teams on data limits, usage, and insights.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge :

• Bachelor's degree, preferably healthcare-related.
• Training in negotiation skills is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare environment with a successful senior-level negotiation history.
• Market Access and Commercial Pharmaceutical Experience.
• Strong understanding of supply/logistics environment for pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare brands.
• Excellent customer account management, communication, organizational, analytical/problem-solving, negotiating, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace and industry business.
