Job summary

FROGG Recruitment seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Sandton legal team. You will handle Finance, Corporate, and Commercial matters, manage client relationships, and contribute to a diverse legal portfolio.

You will draft and review contracts, perform detailed legal research, and support due diligence, M&A activities, and compliance. Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• LLB degree and admission as Attorney
• Fidelity Fund Certificate
• 3–5 years post-articles experience in Commercial, Corporate, or Finance law
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal databases
• Exceptional communication and client management skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and provide legal advice on Finance, Corporate, and Commercial matters
• Draft and review commercial contracts, corporate documentation, and legal agreements
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal opinions and memoranda
• Support M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, and due diligence processes
• Handle litigation support and dispute resolution matters where required
• Maintain accurate file documentation and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Meet fee-earning targets and billing requirements
• Contribute to business development initiatives

Our law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Sandton. You will provide comprehensive legal support in Finance, Corporate, and Commercial law matters, managing client relationships and handling a diverse portfolio of legal work.

Salary: Market Related

Requirements

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree

Admitted Attorney (Law Society of South Africa)

Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate

Minimum 3-5 years post-articles experience in Commercial, Corporate, or Finance law

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities

Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal databases

Exceptional communication and client management skills
