Job description

Assistant to Sectional Title Property Manager – Cape Town.

Our client is growing their sectional title team to add an additional assistant for their customers based in the City Bowl and Atlantic Seaboard.

If you have excellent team & customer interaction skills with sectional title property administration experience, this position can develop into a growth opportunity – we require your eagerness to learn more and grow your skills!

Salary: R18 000 to R20 000 per month with the opportunity to work towards a more senior position.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum five years’ experience incorporating Sectional Title Property administration.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  3. Ability to work in a detailed and deadline orientated business.
  4. Experience with managing records, correspondence, repairs, levy collections and meeting minutes.
  5. A self-starter who wants to grow current skills and learn more.
  6. Able to work one step ahead of the Manager ensuring all admin duties are completed timeously.
  7. Highly advantageous if you have experience working on the software – Weconnectu.
  8. Must have own vehicle and can work in Cape Town CBD area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Managing administration duties for various portfolios for sectional title buildings.
  2. Dealing with correspondence and liaising with team and customers.
  3. Preparing minutes of meetings.
  4. Compiling AGM packs for the relevant meetings scheduled.
  5. Scheduling of meetings for the team members.
  6. Distributing of notices, correspondence and meeting minutes.
  7. Assisting with levy collection, issuing of statement and managing arrears.
  8. Maintain all records of documentation for owners and scheme activities.
  9. Providing general administrative support for the Manager.
  10. Oversee maintenance and repairs and the management of contracts.
  11. Ensuring compliance with the Sectional Titles Act and scheme rules.
