Job Position: Assistant to Financial Manager
Ref: 5022
Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:
• B.Com or B.Tech in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting practice
• Advanced understanding of Excel
• Well presented and spoken
• Computer literate in: advanced Excel, Outlook, Pastel Partner, Quickbooks Online
• Experience with:
- Processing interest and bank charges from bond, loan and HP statements
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, processing monthly depreciation
- Monthly reconciliation of schedules for vehicles
- Process interest and finance charges per vehicles
- Create and maintain reports of the fixed assets and HP’s
- Reconcile diesel statements to Quickbooks and the statement of purchase
- Keep track and process sales accruals
- Perform VAT calculations and reconcile VAT for multiple companies
- Compile and analyse monthly management accounts for multiple companies
- Assist other departments with monthly working Excel sheets
- Comparing, analysis, reconciling and reporting back on differences between the daily management report and the monthly management accounts
- Reconcile intercompany loan accounts, internal customers and internal suppliers
- Assist Auditors with information required from them to perform the monthly audit
- Analysis physical stock count and compare to Quickbooks stock figures and investigate differences
- Compile information for the annual BEE audit
- Complete Stats SA questionnaires
- Able to create formulated Excel sheets to Automate processes
- Assist the Admin Department during busy season if staff are absent
- Assist the Financial Manager, COO and CEO with any additional requirements
