Mediclinic is seeking a technically skilled Engineering professional to oversee the maintenance of hospital buildings and equipment in Pretoria. You will manage the technical team, oversee projects, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement within Technical Operations.

The role requires an engineering qualification (heavy current) and at least four years of post-graduate HVAC/electrical experience, with strong budgeting and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (heavy current) with Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate engineering experience with HVAC and auxiliary electrical power supplies exposure.
• Experience within a facility management environment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the management and maintenance of building, plant and equipment
• Manage and support technical projects within the Hospital
• Manage and mitigate Technical Operations risk within the Hospital
• Oversee and manage on-site contractors/suppliers in the Hospital
• Ensure quality management and continuous improvement within Technical Operations
• To manage stakeholder relations and client service within the technical environment at Mediclinic
• Lead and manage the people in the technical team
• Manage and control department budget/finances
