Purpose of the Role:

The Assistant Boutique Manager works in synergy with the Boutique Store Manager to lead an energetic and passionate team dedicated to creating positive experiences with clients.

They support the Boutique Manager in all retail activities that enhance the brand's image and market leadership by liaising with field and head office functions. In the absence of the Boutique Manager, they will step up to support operational standards and coach the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Guide the team towards achieving results and developing individual talents. Foster an environment of ethics, integrity, and diversity, promoting positive collaboration.
  2. Employee Relations: Partner with the Boutique Manager to identify, address, and manage employee relations issues according to company policies. Provide performance feedback.
  3. Communication: Facilitate team and individual communication to ensure collective knowledge sharing.
  4. Brand Vision & Challenges: Share the brand vision, communicate boutique challenges, empower the team, and hold them accountable.
Boutique Administration:
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures and on-the-job training.
  • Review and analyze sales data and stock reports monthly, taking action on identified concerns.
  • Update reports on sales performance, new launches, events, and provide business performance feedback.
  • Report on customer insights, competitor activities, product acceptance, and distribution within the catchment area.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Store keeping and procurement tasks.
