Purpose of the Role

• The Assistant Boutique Manager works in synergy with the Boutique Store Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for clients.
• Supports the Boutique Manager in retail activities that enhance the brand’s image and market leadership, liaising with field and head office functions. In the absence of the Boutique Manager, steps up to support operational standards and coaches the team.

• Leads the team to achieve results and develop individual talents.
• Creates an environment of ethics, integrity, and diversity, fostering positive collaboration.
• Partners with the Boutique Manager to address employee relations issues and shares performance feedback.
• Facilitates team and individual communication to ensure collective knowledge.
• Shares the brand vision, empowers the team, and holds them accountable.
• Manages boutique administration and implements standard operating procedures and on-the-job training.

Administration and Reporting

• Analyzes sales data across categories.
• Reviews monthly stock reports and addresses concerns.
• Updates reports on sales, performance, and feedback monthly.
• Provides insights on business performance, customer trends, competitor activities, and product acceptance.
• Reports on developments within the V&A catchment area.
• Handles store keeping and procurement tasks.
