Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli, a premier chocolate brand, is seeking a Store Manager to uphold brand integrity and drive day-to-day operations of the Lindt Retail Boutique. You will lead staff, partner with Store Manager and corporate contacts, and push aggressive growth of the Lindt Brand in a dynamic, international setting.

You will ensure outstanding customer service, monitor sales, manage inventory and loss prevention, and implement local and corporate marketing initiatives while maintaining premium

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years retail management experience.
  • Ter tiary education preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with social media channels.
  • Strong time management habits.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in merchandising and presentation of premium products and strong selling skills.
  • Sales oriented with ability to build business.
  • A passion for chocolate!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
  • Assist with daily boutique operations.
  • Model exemplary customer service and set guidelines.
  • Monitor daily sales to maximize profitability without compromising service.
  • Timely ordering of merchandise and supplies; manage inventory and loss prevention.
  • Handle daily paperwork and store accounting tasks.
  • Develop and grow Corporate Sales and strategy.
  • Maintain product knowledge and sales information with focus on achieving sales goals while controlling costs.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness and product safety.
  • Open and close the boutique per shift plan.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Head Office Marketing.
  • Seek local marketing opportunities and support corporate initiatives.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives driven by Marketing department.
  • Ensure compliance with price changes and merchandising standards.
  • Maintain store presentation to company standards.

Job description

Position Purpose

To uphold the integrity and promote the image of Lindt by managing day-to-day operations of the Lindt Retail Boutique. To work closely with the staff members, Store Manager, personnel, and appropriate corporate contacts resulting in the aggressive growth and development of the Lindt Brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations
  • Assist with the daily operations of Lindt retail Boutique
  • Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behavior and establishing appropriate guidelines
  • Monitor sales daily with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
  • Timely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention
  • Daily paperwork and accounting, and other store administration
  • Develop and grow Corporate Sales business and strategy
  • Develop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety
  • Open and close the Boutique according to shift plan
  • Conduct monthly reports as required by Head Office Marketing
  • Seek out local marketing opportunities and support corporate marketing initiatives
  • Implement local marketing initiatives driven by the Marketing department
  • Compliance with price changes and corporate merchandising initiatives
  • Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • 2-4 years retail management experience
  • Tertiary education preferred
