Assistant Retail Manager

Our client, a leading wholesale retail liquor franchise, is seeking a customer focused Assistant Retail Manager to join their team. This position will suit an individual with good management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
2. Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
3. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
4. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Plan and execute in-store promotions, merchandising, and marketing campaigns.

Minimum Requirements

1. Matric.
2. 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in the retail liquor industry.
3. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
4. MS Office and PC literate.
5. Strong knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and responsible alcohol sales.
6. Understanding of inventory management and stock control.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
