KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist the RGM in achieving CHAMPS Standards within the restaurant by ensuring all employees focus on exceeding customer expectations for Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, and Speed of Service.
  2. Learn to manage shifts in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, including directing employee activities to maximize sales, efficiency, and profitability.
  3. Understand how to allocate responsibilities to employees on shift and monitor their performance.
  4. Ensure all employees follow correct maintenance procedures as per the maintenance roster and inform RGM of repairs or maintenance needs.
  5. Learn about forecasting and scheduling labour by shift, creating deployment plans to control costs and meet business needs using tools like Macromatix.
  6. Support RGM in implementing controls and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, property, and company resources.
  7. Report to RGM any employee relations, customer service, or health inspection issues that could affect restaurant operations.
  8. Assist RGM in implementing staff training programmes to enhance performance and career development.
  9. Support and demonstrate our How We Win Together principles by acting as a role model and leading with Heart, Smart, and Courage.
Requirements

INHERENT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB

  1. Minimum 12 months supervisory experience in the QSR Industry.
  2. Proficiency in English.
  3. Numeracy skills.
  4. Computer literacy, including MS Office.
  5. Minimum of 12 months in an SS Role.
  6. Grade 12 NQF Level 4 qualification, preferably with a related tertiary qualification.
  7. A passion for product quality and customer service, pride in the KFC brand.
  8. Experience in Hospitality, Hotel, or Restaurant roles.
