General Description Of Position
Assists the manager of a residential facility under the direct supervision of the Residential Manager. Responsible for serving as a role model for residents and staff, assisting in daily operations, security, and safety of the facility. Supports supervision and training of staff and residents.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Supervises and trains residents and staff in independent living, home management, cooking, cleaning, and social skills. Ensures compliance with DDS regulations and guidelines. Coordinates safety, security, and communication with families, case managers, and officials. Manages reports, records, and inventory. Oversees medication management in coordination with medical staff. Supervises training for residents' independence and placement readiness. Maintains relationships with funding sources and attends training.
Assists in staff supervision, payroll, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Provides feedback to support quality care. Monitors service progress, maintains client financial records, and manages housing documentation. Follows all applicable policies, regulations, and standards. Acts as Residential Manager in their absence. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED plus 2 years related experience and 7-11 months management experience, or equivalent. Must pass background checks and drug screening.
