The Stalking Threat Assessment Centre (STAC) is looking for two highly capable individuals, with a solid understanding in research and data management.
STAC is a multiagency co-located pan London service focused on improving responses to stalking across the capital and is based in East London. The post holder would work closely with Metropolitan Police, Probation Service and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, third sector advocacy, as part of a pilot project focusing on the delivery and piloting of an Early Stalking Intervention Program (ESIP) funded by NHS London health in justice.
The post holders will be involved in supporting delivery of the pilot ESIP program, coordination of referrals, intervention delivery, and data collection under the supervision of senior practitioner psychologists. The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the gathering of information on referrals, participating in MDT risk stratification, agreeing an onward pathway and liaising with stakeholders. The post holder will assist in the assessment of suitability of those being assessed for a Stalking Protection Order or Restraining Order. The post holder will also maintain the data collection of the project under the direction of the senior psychologist.

Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

- To maintain a high standard of clinical record keeping of those referred to ESIP.
- To contribute to the development, evaluation and monitoring of the team's operational policies and services and participate in the development of high quality, responsive and accessible services.
- To utilise theory, evidence-based literature and research to support evidence-based practice in individual work with other team members.
Responsibility for IT and Digital Systems/Services:
- To use IT and Digital Systems in line with NHS policy and practice.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Higher Undergraduate Psychology Degree which confers Graduate membership.
- Post Graduate Degree.
- Further post graduate training in relevant areas of research design and analysis.
Skills
- High level computer and IT skills relating to understanding and managing databases and data analysis.
- Graduate level knowledge of psychological research methodology and statistical analysis.
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems or other disabilities.
- Ability to form effective working relationships with people from diverse communities and ethnic groups.
Experience
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with mental health problems and/or interpersonal difficulties.
- An understanding of recovery principles, the care programme approach (including health and social care assessments) and the role of secondary mental health services in the delivery of care.
- Experience of work with people with mental health problems and/or other disabilities.
- Experience of implementing psychologically informed interventions under supervision of a clinical psychologist.
- Knowledge about stalking threat awareness.
- Experience of delivering psychoeducational/low intensity interventions.
- Experience of working within the Criminal Justice System.
Skills
