Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a disciplined and motivated individual to join the team at the team, a well-established operation in the forestry propagation industry.

We are looking for a hands-on team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and plant production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee forestry seedling and cutting propagation activities
• Manage growing operations including irrigation, spraying, and general plant care
• Perform quality control checks, weekly stock reporting, and germination assessments
• Manage order dispatch and coordinate the loading of delivery vehicles
• Oversee maintenance activities within the operation

Requirements:

• Honest, reliable, and hardworking individual willing to “get their hands dirty”
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
• Fluent in both English and Zulu
• Keen interest in agriculture and plant production
• Advantageous: Horticulture qualification and relevant industry experience
