Qualifications and Experience
  1. Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transport Management.
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience, with in-depth knowledge of job-related requirements.
Skills and Capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; highly skilled in Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Experience with tracking and tracing systems.
Job-related Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience in logistics transport, dealing with clients in Warehouse and Transportation environments.
  • Transport relationship management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, including inbound, outbound, and returns.
  • Proven skills in organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring transporters.
  • Ability to meet customer expectations and ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, work instructions, and workloads.
  • Experience in managing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Good interpersonal skills for client account management.
  • Strong data analysis and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all management levels.
  • Experience in incident reporting and claims handling.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent writing, interpretation, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, administrative skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collective goals.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience with strategic client engagement and communication.
  • Exposure to strategic client management and communication channels.
Main Purpose of the Role

To oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and maintaining effective communication with carriers and stakeholders to support seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transportation processes from carrier pre-execution to on-time delivery, including administration within DSV Solutions TMS.
  • Maintain communication with carriers and stakeholders, resolving challenges proactively.
  • Monitor and report on carrier performance against SLAs.
  • Manage incidents, claims, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Identify process improvements and value-adding opportunities.
Additional Duties
  • Ensure compliance with export/import controls and safety regulations.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Support change management initiatives and operational improvements.
