Job description

A vacancy exists in the Inbound Parts Supply Department, which forms part of the Customer Service Division and is based in Johannesburg (Atlas Road). This position reports to the Local Parts Procurement Manager and will focus on the Supply Chain and Inventory Management of Locally Sourced Parts .

  • Maintain Allocation Fill Rate
  • Overall Inventory Management
  • Manage dealer back-order aging
  • Maintain Inventory stock months
  • Manage forecast performance
  • Manage ETD Accuracy
  • Supplier Management

Qualifications And Experience

  • NQF Level 5 (240 credits on level 8 framework) Supply Chain Management/ Finance Management/ Business Administration Management/ Logistics Management or related
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, working in a team and influencing others
  • Project Management
  • Automotive industry experience would be an advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
  • PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • SAP R3 experience is essential
  • MRP system application experience
  • Driver’s Licence (Essential)
  • Ability to travel nationally (Essential)
