Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in the Alternative Asset Services Division to oversee client portfolio accounting and administration. You will mentor junior staff and work closely with the lead relationship manager and Director to deliver high-quality service to clients.

The role requires CA(S) or equivalent and at least 3 years in the fund industry, with AML and regulatory knowledge. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional qualification in accounting/finance (CA(S) or equivalent).
• Experience in fund accounting or asset services is essential.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including AML is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio including administration and accounting oversight.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and support professional qualifications study.
• Coordinate NAV planning, reporting and statutory obligations for entities.
• Prepare entity-specific procedures for administration and reporting.
• Liaise with auditors for planning, coordination and audit support.
• Ensure reporting complies with local laws, GAAP or IFRS and other principals.
• Ensure client responsibilities are managed effectively.
