Assistant Management Couple

• Mountain Game Lodge near Nelspruit is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Management Couple to support the General Managers (Lodge Anchor / FOH & Maintenance / Field Guide).

We are looking for a dynamic couple with mature characters, good people skills, and a passion for hospitality. Must be eager, willing, and keen to join a growing company.

This position requires a hands-on approach, an eye for detail, flexibility, and determination to maintain and improve the very high standards already in place.

Lodge Anchor:

Responsible for assisting the lodge manager in all areas of lodge management, including reservations, office administration, front of house and service, lodge staff management, and marketing.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Tourism / Hospitality Qualification
3. Minimum 2 years working experience in 4 or 5 star establishments
4. Food & Beverage Experience
5. Computer literate essential + knowledge of Nightsbridge booking system
6. Administrative skills and experience
7. Hosting experience and service
8. Good administration skills / attention to detail
9. Some marketing knowledge or experience
10. Valid Driver's License

Field Guide / Lodge & Reserve Maintenance:

Responsible for client nature experience (nature drives, guided walks, hiking / MTB trails), land management support under the farm manager, maintenance of guest activity equipment, trails and locations, assisting with general maintenance, front of house, and service.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Minimum 1 year guiding experience
3. Good general bush knowledge of the Lowveld area
4. Specialty knowledge of birds / trees a bonus
5. Hosting experience and service
6. General maintenance skills and experience
7. Land management experience (knowledge of land maintenance and invasive removal, etc.)
