Job description

- Assist the Hotel Storekeeper in receiving, inspecting, and storing all hotel supplies, equipment, and materials.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies as needed.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.

- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Hotel Storekeeper.

- Assist in the distribution of supplies to various departments on the ship.

- Maintain a clean and organized storage area at all times.

- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all team members and guests.

- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and assist in identifying areas for improvement.

- Provide excellent customer service to all team members and guests.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.

- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items.
