We’re working with an innovative, fast-growing business in the telecoms and tech space that’s looking for a skilled Assistant Financial Manager to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role offers a mix of hands-on financial management and leadership exposure – ideal for someone looking to step up and take real ownership.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support the preparation of annual financial statements
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and assist with board / executive reporting
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and support audit processes
• Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
• Track expenses, assist with budgeting, and highlight cost-saving opportunities
• Support and guide a small finance team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
• Act as a key liaison for financial matters with internal teams and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For :

• Degree in Accounting (articles advantageous)
• 5+ years’ experience in finance, ideally within the telecoms or tech sector
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial governance
• Proficient in financial systems and comfortable with ERP environments
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
• Confident in presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
• Team-focused with a desire to mentor and lead others
