Bushwise is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager for a luxury safari lodge in KwaZulu-Natal, Pongola. You will support daily financial operations, ensure accurate reporting and cost control, and work closely with department heads and operations to maintain financial integrity.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in finance/accounting, hospitality experience preferred, and is proficient in Excel with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proactive finance professional with strong numerical ability.
• Experience with creditors, debtors and reconciliations.
• Strong month-end and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent Excel and computer skills.
• Hospitality/lodge accounting systems experience is advantageous.

My client is looking for adetail-oriented and highly organised Assistant Finance Managerto join a luxury safari lodge in KZN.

THE ROLE

You will support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day financial operations of the lodge, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and effective cost management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

A proactive finance professional who can work confidently with HODs, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Procurement and Operations, while maintaining strict financial controls and deadlines.

Requirements

WE’R LOOKING FOR:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3–5 years' relevant finance/accounting experience
• Experience with creditors, debtors and reconciliations
• Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
• Excellent Excel and computer skills
• Experience with stock and cost control
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Hospitality/lodge experience is highly advantageous
• Experience with PMS/POS or hospitality accounting systems advantageous
