Job summary

TravelPeople is seeking an experienced finance professional to join a live-in, luxury safari lodge in KwaZulu-Natal as Assistant Finance Manager. You will support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations, reporting, controls and cost management.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years in finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with creditors, debtors, reconciliations and hospitality accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Experience with creditors, debtors and reconciliations.
• Strong month-end and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent Excel and computer skills.
• Experience with stock and cost control.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Hospitality/lodge experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with PMS/POS or hospitality accounting systems advantageous.
