ASSISTANT DRAFTSMAN/CAD OPERATOR – East London

Our client is seeking a hardworking and motivated Assistant Draftsman / CAD Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman or CAD Operator.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, modification, and updating of technical drawings and plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications.
• Support documentation and filing of project-related data.
• Complete work within set timelines and quality standards.

Working hours are between 7:30 and 16:30, with paid overtime when necessary.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
