KEY RESULTS AREAS
Customise media liaison services to journalists to suit each medium.
Media Monitoring of coverage pertaining to the department and the National System of Innovation.
Internal and external Publication and Communication.
Provide media liaison, marketing and events assistance with Special Projects.

Knowledge and understanding of Government communications.
Project Management in terms of planning and meeting deadlines.
Good command of official South African languages including English and another language.
Knowledge of Public Financial Management Act, Public Service Regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
NQF level 6 qualification in Media studies/ Communication/ Journalism / Business Communication.
2 years' experience in media liaison and media monitoring.
