A local government entity in Cape Town is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the logistics management system and ensure compliance with policies. The ideal candidate should have a 3-year degree in a related field and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics management. Responsibilities include implementing effective logistics functions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field; a minimum of 3 years relevant logistic management experience at a supervisory level.

Competencies
Knowledge of: Accounting; Public Finance Management Act; Logistic Information System (LOGIS); Asset Management; Proven computer literacy (MS Excel); Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Remuneration
R - R per annum (Salary level 9). Note: Additional service benefits or obligations (medical, housing, pension contributions, etc.) are funded or co-funded as per applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
