A government department in South Africa seeks a Financial Accounting Supervisor to manage revenue collection, reporting, and employee supervision. Candidates must possess a 3-year B-Degree in Financial Accounting and have a minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and relevant regulations necessary. The role offers a competitive salary and additional service benefits.
An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher) in Financial Accounting or related; A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience in a financial accounting or similar environment.

Knowledge of the following : Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions; Public Service Act, 4, as amended; Basic Conditions of Employment Act; Relevant systems (Basic Accounting System and Logistical Information System).
R - R per annum (Salary level 9)

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to do a practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments / proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
