Job description

Purpose

To provide secretariat and logistical support in the Office of the Director-General.

Key Result Areas

  • Provision of secretariat support services for executive meetings
  • Logistical support for executive meetings
  • Coordination of ODG Unit meetings and planning sessions
  • Distribution of external Cabinet memos and coordination of Minister's Cabinet briefing notes
  • Providing admin support
  • Document and information management

Competency Requirements

Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of government processes
  • Knowledge of organising, planning, executing and monitoring projects
  • Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of secretariat support services
  • Understanding of Minimum Information Security Standards.
