Role Purpose
Provide effective service to clients by managing a portfolio of clients, facilitating trustee and advisory body meetings, and providing advice on employee benefits-related matters.

Requirements
2-3 years experience in a call centre or client service environment with proven knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Exposure to the insurance industry (preferred).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of Principal or Senior Consultant, provide effective service to clients.
  • Assist the Senior Consultant and/or Consultant with day-to-day activities required to manage a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of all queries and ensuring they are resolved promptly.
  • Build a network of relationships with service providers to ensure effective service delivery to clients.
  • Provide consistent service delivery to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Assist with client invoicing and commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation.
  • Check retainer income invoicing of stand-alone funds to clients and other ad-hoc services invoices.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and file notes for client meetings, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Follow up on action items from client meetings, ensuring timely execution.
  • Facilitate re-broke process of all clients in the portfolio and prepare re-broke reports.
  • Manage the section 14 process, ensuring timely processing as per legislation.
  • Assist in installing new business efficiently, ensuring processing within agreed timelines.
  • Provide accurate, current advice and information regarding solutions to all clients/stakeholders under the guidance of the Principal or Senior Consultant.
  • Participate in building a culture of rewarding relationships, feedback, and exceptional client service.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the client experience.
  • Make recommendations to enhance client service and fair treatment of clients and their employees.
  • Implement, track, and measure all client deliverables in line with service level agreements.
  • Provide accurate reports and documentation to clients as per agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities or cross-selling opportunities under the guidance of Senior or Principal Consultants.
  • Continuously develop expertise in professional, industry, and legislative knowledge.
  • Identify solutions to improve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Manage reputational and financial risks arising from interactions with internal and external clients.
