• Assists in assessing player's skills and assigns team positions.

• Coaches and instructs players, individually or in groups, on rules, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Observes players during competition and practice and informs Head Coach about needs for improvement.
• Assists with determining game strategy based on team capabilities.
• Maintains standards of pupil behavior and proper supervision of athletes at all times.
• Follows established procedures for injury response, and adheres to state, regional, and district regulations.

• Performs support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility forms, emergency data cards, insurance records, equipment inventory, and other related records.
• Models non discriminatory practices in all activities.
